 Eligibility:  Applicants must: have completed a bachelor degree with first class honours (or equivalent); be undertaking a higher degree by research; and be enrolled as a full-time student (unless approved as part-time). The applicant must not hold a research doctorate (for master and doctorate) or a research master degree (for master) or equivalent; must not have previously held an Australian Government-funded postgraduate research scholarship (excluding an International Postgraduate Research Scholarship) unless it was terminated in the past 6 months; and must not be receiving an equivalent award, scholarship or salary providing a benefit greater than 75 per cent of the award stipend rate to undertake their higher degree. Students may undertake part-time work subject to the approval of the university.
