Description: The scholarship is provided by the Australian Legion of Ex-Servicemen and Women (Burnie Sub Branch) in memory of Mr Bob Jelley who served for 6 years in the Second World War and was a member of the 4th Anti Tank Regiment. Bob (RHG) Jelley was instrumental in the formation of the Burnie Sub Branch of the Australian Legion in 1954, and worked tirelessly to help ex-servicemen and their families, both financially and materially, until his passing in 1996.
