Description: The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage postgraduate training in disability studies and provide financial support to students in the Department of Disability Studies at Flinders University.

Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents, and be undertaking on either a full-time or part-time basis one of the following programs offered by the Department of Disability Studies at the university: Honours in Disability Studies; Graduate Certificate in Disability Studies; Master of Disability Studies; or a master or doctorate by research project relevant to the Community Accommodation and Respite Agency (CARA) and its client population. Selection is based on: academic merit; experience in the disability field; the extent to which the research project is relevant to CARA and its client population; and envisaged contribution to future research in the disability field. Preference will be given to experience in the disability field in South Australia.
