Description: The Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarships (CAS) are available to Indigenous students to assist with the high costs of relocating to undertake higher education. While the CAS have been replaced by the Relocation Scholarships (administered by Centrelink), they will continue to be offered to Indigenous students in their existing form.

Eligibility: Applicants must: be Indigenous Australian citizens experiencing financial disadvantage; be full-time undergraduate students commencing or undertaking study in a Commonwealth Supported Place including the Diploma of Tertiary Studies or Graduate Diploma of Education at a Monash campus in Australia; be from a rural or regional area four years prior to commencing the course; and have not previously completed a bachelor degree or equivalent (except where it is an entry requirement for the current course). Selection based on need. Tenure is dependent on maintaining full-time enrolment.
