Description: The Deakin Access Scholarships are available to help those students who, because of some hardship, disability or other form of disadvantage, might not otherwise enjoy the benefits that flow from participation in higher education.

Eligibility: Applicants must: be Australian citizens or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa; be commencing students enrolled full-time in an undergraduate course of study in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP); and meet Deakin's disadvantage criteria. Disadvantage criteria include: financial disadvantage; rural or regional home location; a disability (full-time or part-time students are eligible); or mature-age status (full-time or part-time students are eligible). Selection is based on the information provided in the application and supporting documentation.
