 Description:  The CSU Rugby Scholarship was established by the CSU Rugby club to support first year commencing students, studying at the Bathurst campus, with a rich rugby history and a willingness to participate in CSU Rugby whilst undertaking their studies.

 Eligibility:  Applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to Rugby Union and be able to demonstrate leadership skills and maintain successful academic achievement. Selection will be dependent on their answers to questions regarding their Rugby Union career so far, proof provided of their commitment to Rugby Union, their goals in Rugby Union and the benefits they gained from playing Rugby Union.

 Study Location:  Australia - NSW: Central West

 Closing Date:  Early February

 Other Details:  The student is required to complete the course in no more than 4 years and pass a minimum of 3 subjects per semester. If the student suffers an injury that prevents them playing rugby but not from continuing their studies, they must demonstrate continuing and active involvement in CSU Rugby by taking a refereeing course or coaching. If the successful applicant does not complete the course or chooses not to play rugby, the scholarship money is to be returned to the Charles Sturt Foundation except in the case of serious injury which prevents the completion of the course.
