Annual Comment: The scholarship provides a one-off payment of $200 to $5,000, and/or a Monash Sport gym membership, and/or a contribution to Monash Residential Services accommodation. The value is dependent on the sport, level played and available funding.

Eligibility: Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, permanent humanitarian visa holders or international students; be commencing or current students in any course at a Monash campus in Australia including Monash College; be involved in non-professional sport, as recognised by Monash Sport; and not be in receipt of regular payments from other funding bodies for playing that sport. Selection is based on sporting performance and representation. Tenure dependent on regularly representing Monash University in chosen sport and participating in the Australian University Games at a satisfactory level as determined by Monash Sport and relevant sporting club.

Other Details: The scholarship can be deferred in exceptional circumstances only for up to one semester. Late applications are open between January and March each year.
