Description: The Monash Scholarship for Excellence recognises the academic achievement of students completing Year 12 or IB equivalent in Australia. These university-wide scholarships will be offered to the highest achieving students for entry into any bachelor degree at a Monash campus in Australia.

Annual Comment: The scholarship covers Commonwealth Supported Place contributions plus $6,000 per 48 credit points of study for the minimum number of credit points required to complete the degree and offers a place in Monash Minds for commencing students. Current students and students transferring from another university/TAFE will receive $6,000 per 48 credit points of study paid for one year.

Eligibility: Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents or permanent humanitarian visa holders; be studying Australian Year 12 or IB (including New Zealand citizens completing the NCEA level 3 examination); be current undergraduate students at Monash, be wishing to transfer to Monash from another university/TAFE, or be holders of a higher education award enrolling in an undergraduate course at Monash; and have an ATAR between 98.00 and 99.85 if a commencing student or be current students with a high distinction average.
