Description: The Institute for Glycomics is offering up to 2 scholarships to outstanding students who have enrolled in an honours program through the School of Biomolecular and Physical Sciences at the Gold Coast campus, with a supervisor who is a member of the Institute for Glycomics. Research at the Institute involves the study of carbohydrates and carbohydrate-binding proteins, and the design of novel drugs and vaccines. This approach presents a therapeutic platform for the control of a wide range of medical conditions such as cancer, diabetes, infectious diseases, inflammation and immune disorders.
