Description: Conference travel grants, funded by the Griffith Graduate Research School, are available on a competitive basis to current Griffith University higher degree research (HDR) students. The GGRS Conference Travel Grants have been established by the University to subsidise attendance by HDR candidates at international conferences in order to present a paper or poster, which will result in significant improvement in the quality of the thesis and provide opportunities to present their research work to international audiences and develop collaborations with international colleagues. The conference should be held outside Australia and the conference paper should be directly related to the applicant's research topic at Griffith University.

Eligibility: Applicants must: be enrolled in a research doctorate at Griffith University; be confirmed in their candidature; be able to produce an abstract that is of quality and that is potentially publishable; be the sole or main author of the presentation; have not previously received a Conference Travel Grant funded by the Griffith Graduate Research School; be presenting at a conference outside of Australia; have not exceeded their original maximum submission date; not be fixed term or continuing Griffith University staff; and not be enrolled in the PhD by Publication program.
