Description: The Deakin University Student Association (DUSA) Scholarships help give students greater opportunity, allowing them to concentrate on their studies and make the most of the opportunities university presents. Some students do not have this opportunity due to economic, social or geographic disadvantage.

Annual Comment: The scholarship provides: all prescribed text books (for enrolled units) available via the DUSA Bookshop; an iPad or laptop; a $150 DUSA Bookshop voucher; a $400 DUSA voucher which can be used for trips, tours, events and short courses offered by DUSA; a $100 Deakin Campus Services spend which can be used for services such as photocopying, binding or food purchases; DUSA Gold membership; $250 travel assistance package; and 100 per cent funded participation in either the Southern University Games, Australian University Games, or Snow Games (this includes registration, accommodation, travel and team meals).

Eligibility: Applicants must: be Australian citizens or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa; be continuing students enrolled full time in an undergraduate course in a Commonwealth Supported Place; be able to demonstrate economic, social or geographical disadvantage; and have a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65.
