 Scholarship Name:  RMIT Northcote Trust Scholarship

 Description:  The Northcote Trust Scholarship has been created to support full-time students transitioning through pathways from diploma to degree at RMIT. Scholarships are an incentive to encourage further education and participation by students from low socio-economic backgrounds with a will to succeed in their education.

 Study Level:  Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree (Honours), Bachelor Degree (Pass), Diploma

 Offer Frequency:  Annual

 Annual Amount:  $5,000

 Annual Comment:  The scholarship is valued at: $10,000 over 2 years for bachelor degree students; or $15,000 over 3 years for diploma students. Some one year scholarships may also be offered.

 Length:  3 year(s)

 Gender:  Co-Ed

 Eligibility:  Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent humanitarian visa holders; not have previously completed the same or higher level award; demonstrate educational and/or financial disadvantage; demonstrate outstanding potential and ambition; be aged 30 or under as of 31 December in the year of application; be enrolled full time at RMIT in semester 1 in the 2nd year of a state government-subsidised diploma or advanced diploma and progress to an RMIT degree program in the same or a complementary field; or, be enrolled full time at RMIT in semester 1 in a degree and have progressed from a diploma or advanced diploma in the same or complementary field.
