 Scholarship Name:  Lillian Passmore Donovan Memorial Scholarship

 Description:  The scholarship is aimed specifically at Indigenous Australians with an interest in pursuing a career in Social Work. The scholarship recognises the contributions of Lillian Passmore Donovan, as an Indigenous woman committed to the field of social work and social justice. Lillian worked for 3 decades across a range of agencies both government and non-government in rural and urban settings. Her final position was with the Victim Support Unit in the Department of Justice. She also worked for the Western Australian Department for Community Development, the Aboriginal Accommodation Service and the Manguri Aboriginal Corporation. She worked in South Australia with the Department of Community Welfare as a Senior Aboriginal Community Development Worker and Senior Supervisor. Lillian won the Peter Jordan Award for Social Justice when graduating from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Social Work in recognition of the quality of her practice and scholarship.
