 Description:  Graham, Bell & Bowman are the architects responsible for the design of the state of the art building which will house the Early Start facility at UOW. The Graham, Bell & Bowman Scholarship for Education is in its inaugural year, and was established as a unique offering to support second year students in the Bachelor of Education - The Early Years program. The scholarship will specifically target UOW students experiencing financial or social disadvantage, who can demonstrate a strong commitment to completing their tertiary studies.

 Eligibility:  Applicants must: be enrolled part/full time in the first year of a Bachelor of Education - The Early Years at the University of Wollongong; have achieved and maintained a grade of satisfactory; be able to demonstrate a commitment to completing their tertiary study in Education - The Early Years; and have a demonstrated need such as financial and/or social disadvantage. Equity criteria include but are not restricted to: low income; family background; living in rural or isolated region; permanent disability; recently migrated from a non-English speaking country; or Indigenous Australians.

 Target Group:  Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, Educational disadvantage, Non-English speaking background, Physical, medical, psychological or learning difficulties, Rural and isolated area resident
