Description: This scholarship was established in 2013 to attract and retain high-achieving undergraduate students into FEDUA degree programs through a system of recognition, support, enrichment and reward.

Annual Comment: The scholarship provides up to $4,000 and an apple iPad 2. The $4,000 sum is payable in 2 lump sum payments of $2,000 per annum after the Semester 1 census date each year, and the Apple iPad 2 will be presented to the recipient after the census date at the FEDUA Faculty Scholars Program (FSP) Welcome Reception.

Eligibility: Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be commencing the first year of a Bachelor of Arts (including BA combined degrees such as Arts/Law, Music/Arts, and Arts/Science); have an ATAR or equivalent entry score of 92 or above; be enrolling full-time at the Callaghan or Central Coast Campus; and not have previously held this scholarship or be a University of Newcastle Industry Scholarship Scheme (UNISS) Scholar.
