Description: Established in 1997, through a gift from the Brisbane RAAF Memorial Trust, the purpose of the scholarship is to encourage students undertaking studies or research in the area of aviation.

Eligibility: Undergraduate applicants must: demonstrate past academic merit; have completed at least 80 credit points of the Griffith Aviation program; demonstrate involvement in community activities and extra-curricular personal achievements; and be current full time students undertaking an undergraduate Griffith Aviation program. Applicants who have not yet commenced the program will also be considered, however, they will be required to pass a Class 1 Aviation medical test as administered by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. Postgraduate applicants must have a qualification that is deemed appropriate by Griffith University, and will be required to submit a written proposal to the selection committee detailing their intended subject or area of research.
