Description: The scholarships are provided to assist and encourage meritorious mature age students for whom educational opportunities are limited. These students will have demonstrated drive and commitment to achieve academically, despite financial hardship or other personal difficulty, in order to commence or continue medical studies at the Fremantle Campus of The University of Notre Dame Australia.

Eligibility: Applicants must: be at least 22 years of age on 1 December in the year in which the application is made; be citizens of Australia; be enrolled full-time in the graduate entry degree of Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in the School of Medicine, Fremantle; have resided in Western Australia for the 12 months preceding the application; and be able to demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances such as distance, financial need, disability or responsibility for the care of the ill or the elderly.
