Scholarship Name: QUT Business School Indigenous Student Intern Scholarship

Description: QUT Business School is offering scholarships to contribute to the academic and career success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Recipients will graduate with an internationally recognised QUT Bachelor of Business degree and significant work experience. Internship placements with corporate sponsors ensure students receive real-world work experience. Students can enter the scholarship program upon completion of Year 12 or via articulation from TAFE.

Annual Amount: $6,700

Annual Comment: The scholarship is valued at $23,450 over 3.5 years. Students articulating from TAFE will receive a proportional scholarship depending on the amount of advanced standing credit granted. Approximately 60 per cent of the scholarship will be applied to the recipient's student account to cover course fees and the remainder will be paid as a stipend/allowance. Recipients will also undertake 2 part-time internships in second and third years to ensure real-world experience.
